It's faster than the Flip 6's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in everyday use, but reviewers agree it doesn't reach Snapdragon 8 Elite levels, and Notebookcheck logged pronounced thermal throttling under sustained load. Trusted Reviews argues that's the right trade-off for a thermally constrained clamshell; Notebookcheck and MKBHD say it's a step backwards versus the Fold 7's Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy.
