The Google Pixel 10 is the most meaningful upgrade the standard Pixel has received in years, bringing a 5x telephoto zoom, Qi2 magnetic charging via PixelSnap, and the TSMC-fabricated Tensor G5 chip to a $799 starting price. TechRadar called it 'the phone you were hoping Apple would make,' praising its spectacular display, competitive cameras, and clean Android 16 experience. However, GSMArena's testing revealed that despite impressive specs on paper, real-world camera performance may have actually regressed from the Pixel 9 due to a sensor swap, and MKBHD noted that AI features remain 'cool on paper but flaky in real life.' The design is virtually unchanged from the Pixel 9, leading Droid-Life to dub it 'a Pixel 9 but with magnets.' For users prioritizing clean software, excellent photography, and magnetic charging at a reasonable price, the Pixel 10 delivers. But the incremental nature of upgrades makes it a tough sell for Pixel 9 owners.

Nearly identical to the Pixel 9 with spacecraft-grade aluminum and Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the Pixel 10's biggest physical change is built-in Qi2 magnets for PixelSnap accessories.
The 6.3-inch LTPO OLED panel pushes to 3,000 nits peak brightness with 120Hz adaptive refresh, earning praise as one of the best smartphone displays at any price.
The Pixel 10 gains a 5x telephoto zoom for the first time on the standard model, with computational photography remaining class-leading. However, the main sensor swap from the Pixel 9 has drawn some criticism.
The Tensor G5 on TSMC 3nm delivers improved CPU efficiency and better thermals, but GeekBench scores still trail Samsung and Apple competitors, and GPU performance remains a weak point.
The 4,970mAh battery with upgraded 30W wired charging comfortably lasts a full day, though charging speeds remain slow by 2025 flagship standards.
Android 16 with deeply integrated Gemini AI brings features like Magic Cue and enhanced computational photography, though many AI features feel half-baked or are region-limited.
